Terms of Service
Version of 11.10.2026
§ 1. General provisions
- These Terms set out the rules for using the gowweb.com service and the services it provides. The service provider is M.IT Robert Szolka, ul. Szymały 136/3, 41-933 Bytom, Poland, VAT ID (NIP) PL6262711018, e-mail biuro@marketing-it.pl (the “Provider”).
- The Customer is a natural person, legal person or organisation that creates an account in the service. A Customer who is a natural person entering into a contract not directly related to their business or profession is a consumer. Consumer provisions also apply to a sole trader when the contract is not of a professional nature for them.
- The Registrant is the person or company indicated by the Customer as the owner of a domain. Their details are sent to the domain registry.
- The Registry is the organisation that runs the registry for a given extension, e.g. NASK for .pl, EURid for .eu, Verisign for .com. We register domains through the accredited registrar Domena.pl sp. z o.o.
§ 2. Services
- The Provider offers: domain registration, renewal and transfer; DNS servers and DNS records; a placeholder page for domains without hosting; SSL certificates; and – when available in the service – website and e-mail hosting.
- The scope and price of each service are shown in the service when the order is placed.
- Services are provided electronically. To use the service you need internet access, an up-to-date web browser and an e-mail address.
§ 3. Account
- An account is created by entering an e-mail address. You sign in with a link sent to that address; the link is valid for a short time and only once. The Customer is responsible for the security of their mailbox.
- The Customer provides true and up-to-date details, including billing details and Registrant details, and keeps them current under “My details”.
- Providing unlawful content and using the services for unlawful purposes, including spam, phishing and infringing the rights of others, is prohibited. In such a case the Provider may suspend the service after prior notice, or immediately in the case of an obvious breach.
- The Customer may delete the account by writing to the Provider. Accounts with active domains are not deleted until the Customer transfers or gives up the domains.
§ 4. Orders, prices and payment
- The Customer places an order in the cart. The contract is concluded when the order is placed and the service sends a confirmation to the Customer’s e-mail address.
- Prices are shown excluding VAT. VAT is added in accordance with the law. The invoice is sent to the e-mail address given in the billing details.
- Payment is made by bank transfer to the account given in the order confirmation. The service starts once the payment has been received.
- If payment is not received within 14 days, the Provider may cancel the order. A domain’s availability is guaranteed only once it has been registered.
§ 5. Domains
- Registration, renewal and transfer of a domain are also subject to the rules of the relevant Registry (e.g. the NASK terms for .pl, the EURid terms for .eu, ICANN rules for generic domains). By placing an order, the Customer accepts these rules on their own behalf and on behalf of the Registrant.
- The owner of the domain is the Registrant. The Customer confirms that they have the Registrant’s consent to provide their details and to conclude the contract on their behalf.
- A domain is registered for the chosen period. Before it ends, we send reminders to the Customer’s e-mail address. Renewal takes place once the Customer has ordered and paid for it. A domain that is not renewed expires – after that the website and e-mail may stop working, and recovering the domain can be more expensive or impossible.
- We issue the transfer code (authinfo) at the Customer’s request by sending it to the account’s e-mail address. Transfers to another registrar follow the Registry’s rules.
- When transferring a domain to us, the Customer provides the transfer code from the current registrar. The transfer may require confirmation by the current registrar or the Registrant and usually takes up to 5 days.
- The Provider is not responsible for the Customer’s choice of domain name, including infringement of third-party rights such as trademarks.
§ 6. DNS, placeholder page and SSL certificates
- A domain using our DNS servers receives a standard set of records. The Customer can change DNS servers and records in the account; changes are saved after confirmation and the Customer is responsible for their effects.
- A domain without hosting shows a placeholder page stating that it is registered with gowweb.com.
- For a domain on our servers (placeholder page or hosting) we issue a free SSL certificate that renews automatically. We do not provide a certificate for a website hosted by the Customer with another provider.
§ 7. Hosting
- Website and e-mail hosting are provided on the servers of a hosting partner. Package parameters (storage, number of mailboxes, limits) are shown when ordering.
- The Customer is responsible for the content and data placed on the hosting and for their backups, unless the package includes backups made by the Provider.
§ 8. Right of withdrawal (consumers)
- A consumer may withdraw from the contract within 14 days of its conclusion without giving a reason by sending a statement to biuro@marketing-it.pl. The consumer may use the model withdrawal form, but this is not obligatory.
- The right of withdrawal does not apply once the service has been fully performed with the consumer’s express consent, given in the knowledge that they would lose this right after performance. Domain registration, renewal and transfer are fully performed when accepted by the Registry. The consumer gives this consent when placing the order.
- For continuous services (e.g. hosting), a consumer who withdraws after the service has started at their request pays for the period up to the withdrawal.
- Payments are refunded within 14 days of receiving the statement, to the account from which the payment was made.
§ 9. Complaints
- The Customer submits complaints about the services to biuro@marketing-it.pl, describing the problem and giving the domain name or order number.
- We reply within 14 days of receiving the complaint, to the Customer’s e-mail address.
- Consumers may use out-of-court dispute resolution, e.g. a consumer advice body in their country.
§ 10. Liability
- The Provider takes care to keep the services running without interruption. Where possible, interruptions due to maintenance are announced in advance.
- The Provider is not responsible for the operation of the Registries, for the effects of incorrect details provided by the Customer, or for DNS changes made by the Customer.
- Towards Customers who are not consumers, the Provider’s liability is limited to the fees paid for the service in the last 12 months and does not include lost profits. This limitation does not apply to damage caused intentionally.
§ 11. Personal data
The processing of personal data is described in the Privacy Policy.
§ 12. Final provisions
- The Provider may change these Terms for important reasons, e.g. changes in law or Registry rules. We announce changes at least 14 days in advance; the new version must be accepted when signing in.
- Polish law applies to matters not covered here. This choice of law does not deprive a consumer of the protection given by the law of their country of residence.
- The Polish version is binding. These Terms apply from 11.10.2026.
